Thanks for asking, Ste! Well not good is the answer, i'm afraid! I have just had no time whatsoever so its been put on hold for a while (much to my frustration as it was really getting goin' - ugh!). I swear, every time I have sat down to read, something has come up or i've just been too damn tired! However, I am definately going to get stuck into it tonight and hopefully will plough through a few more chapters

Good for you Mrs. B. I, myself, have had problems sitting down to read IT but I've really dove into the book recently and I am on the verge of finishing it. It was really a great book. I don't think I can stop reading Stephen King!!!

I don't think I can stop reading Stephen King!!! The thing is - I like to really absorb what i'm reading, ya know? A quick 5 mins here and there doesnt give you the same 'feel'. I like to give myself time to get emmersed in the whole atmosphere and the characters - and I just havent had the time to do that! I have a huge break from work soon though - so I will certainly catch up then! IT is definately next on my list Glad you have enjoyed it! (does Pennywise still hide in your bedrrom, though? lmao)

Mrs. B, I just got back from seeing Stephen King's 1408 in theatres. Boy is it wild!!!!! I don't think I've ever jumped out of my seat before . It's about an LA writer who is looking to write his last chapter of this book he's writing and he hears about this hotel in New York City with a room that no one ever lived more than an hour in. Being the horror writer he is, he is not afraid of it and thinks it could be the perfect ending and is exactly what he's looking for. The hotel managers warn him not to go in there but he keeps insisting and well....... he enters the 8th room on the 14th floor and the hour countdown begins. It was well worth the 2 hours. The only problem I had with the movie is that I'm not gonna be able to fall asleep. Boy was it scary and captivating!!!!

No i haven't read the book yet, but after seeing the movie, I wouldn't be suprised to see the book in my house in the next month or so. It's a short story so I think it will be with other short stories of his into one big book (like Four Past Midnight). You'll jump out of your chair too Mrs. B!!
